Nonprofits: Using Facebook to Raise Awareness & Money

Mashable recently posted “5 Social Fundraising Alternatives to Facebook Causes” – these were interesting to me because Facebook Causes is what most people talk about when they mention FB and nonprofits. Some cool applications.

On a related now, found this story below yesterday on my Facebook feed.  It is an amazing story of:

• Viral nature of generosity (tapping into the human desire to help – that’s contagious)
• Facebook’s viral environment (this is a great environment for contagious generosity to spread)
